VIERERGRUPPE GSCHLÖßL – I TAKE EVERYTHING

"Die Berliner Stadtmusikanten" When I first heard the music of "Four Group Gschlößl", I remembered the fairy tale of the brothers Grimm by the "Bremen city musicians" that my grandmother read to me more often when I was still a child. The compositions of Gschlößl and Fink are jazz-like, original and partly humorously optimistic, with Fink's pieces more reminiscent of tradition, while Gschlößl formally goes somewhat more idiosyncratic ways. This music was created in the jazz clubs and at home. A fine example of the intense work of a new generation of Berlin musicians at the base. I open my eyes and see: they work cheerfully like water pumps in the Berlin air.
